October Revolutionary, Part 2

It's October again, the air is getting cooler, and I've just changed my life's course. I started working full time at Kinki University, shut down my attempt at business administration, and am in the throes of wedding planning.

On the subject of my marriage, I should say a little about my bride. Her name is Midori Nakayama, she's 31 on October 4th, she's from northern Kyoto prefecture, and she's much shorter than me. We've been together almost 2 years now, having met through a friend at my gym. She's been a hairstylist, is now a waitress, and will be looking to find a normal desk job after we finish the wedding. We share the housework, although she usually cleans while I handle the food. She's very funny, although not always intentionally. And she does her best to make sure we're both happy.

Otherwise, the work situation should be stabilizing soon. It feels good to be back on a normal salary and 5 day work-week. Although I have yet to realize that benefit as I just started this all yesterday.

With the weather getting cooler, I'm anxious to head out and see the countryside. I haven't done much traveling outside Osaka lately, and miss the soothing Japanese sights. I'm really looking forward to having the family visit in November so I can show off my favorite places too.

We've also got the capoeira batizado coming up in a couple weeks, unfortunately, I might have broken my toe. Here's hoping the doctor gives me good news when I go on Friday.
